Baby care is not only about feeding and changing nappies. It is also about guiding your little all throughout the baby development and baby growth stage. Moreover, it’s crucial not too miss exciting baby milestones, from learning how to talk, to taking her first few steps.
Are you excited to see your child take her first few steps? Letting her move all by herself is the best way to encourage her to take some steps. It’s important for her to explore outside the baby carrier and stroller. Below are some tips that can encourage her to walk.
- Don’t let her wear shoes for now.

The best shoes for early walkers are zero shoes. Just let her walk barefoot on safe surfaces. - Allow her to rest.
Allow your child to rest from walking for a few days or weeks. Resting is important after a series of feats and rewards. Some toddlers go back to crawling after an illness and bad tumble. Take it slowly but surely.
- Leave tempting trails.

Going to activity centers doesn’t really have risks, but they don’t improve baby walking skills either. Remember that your child needs to develop her arm muscles to walk well. Don’t let her in these activity areas longer than 30 minutes.
